Q: How do I get signed copies of your paperbacks?

Q: Are there going to be any more books in the Alexa Reed Series?

A: I haven’t decided yet, but there is a very strong possibility.

Q: What are you writing now?

A: I don’t have WIP right now, but I have drafted a few ideas for a couple new series and one stand alone book.

Q: I’d love to be a beta reader, how can I make that happen.

A: I don’t use a lot of beta readers because it isn’t part of my personal process as a writer, however I do let a few people beta read and give out ARCS prior to release. The best way to be a part of that is to join my street team so we can get to know each other. Register to become a Wynner for more information on joining my street team.

Q: Can you give me advice on self-publishing

A: Send me an email and I will help if I can. I have a great team supporting me and I’d be happy to share some of my experiences and link you with some people who can help out as well.

Q: Can I find your books in a store?

A: Right now my books are only available online or through me. You can find both the print and ebook versions on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iBooks and Kobo.

Q: Do reviews really matter?

A: Totally!! I read them all, the good and the bad. Reviews really help indie authors like me get the word out about their books so please consider leaving them when you love a book. They don’t have to be anything detailed and long either, just write from your heart!

Q: What inspired you to write this series?

A: I got caught up in the 50 Shades of Grey hype like so many others. I started reading adult contemporary romances after that and enjoyed the entertaining quality they possess. After reading about twenty books in this genre over a month period (I read super-fast), I decided that I wanted to try to write my own story. I thought about what I liked about these characters, what I didn’t, what was already done etc. and tried to come up with something original, relatable and entertaining. I shared my ideas and initial writing with some close friends and they encouraged me to keep going.

Q: I am a new author. Do you have any advice for me?

A: Believe in yourself and have people who are honest read your work. It is very important to have trust in the people you are working with because they will steer you in the right direction. As a newer author, I have been extremely critical of myself. I had to realize that this is a process and that it is ok that I didn’t know everything and do everything the right way the first time.

Q: Do you really love shoes as much as Alexa?

A: My family might read this so I have to be honest…I do love shoes!!
