I think most of you know I just celebrated a birthday last weekend. Well, on that day I was feeling very reflective about things I’ve learned in my ???? years on this earth. I realize that I truly do learn something new every single day. Something’s are big things and others are small, but they all matter. I sat down and started to make a list of some of my big things so I wouldn’t forget what was popping into my mind. I stopped at 15 because I had dinner plans (not because I was out of things to write). I was never planning on sharing these with anyone because I don’t think I have all (or any of the answers), but when I just pulled the list out of my purse I felt like putting it out into the world. So here it is – take what you like and leave the rest.
1) Trusting and believing in yourself is the best gift you can ever give yourself, because who knows you better than you.
2) Everyone has a place to go that fuels their soul and we should visit it often.
3) It’s never too late until it’s too late. Don’t waste opportunities to live, love and grow.
4) Hard work really does pay off. The payoff is just different for everyone.
5) Someone that is a true friend will ALWAYS be a true friend. Period.
6) The days always seem long but the years fly by. Carpe Diem!
7) It’s never too late to try something new.
8) We all have a “ping” inside of us. Follow it and it will lead you where you should be.
9) It really isn’t my business what other people think of me.
10) Put honesty, love and loyalty out into the world because it will come back to you if you do.
11) You don’t know what you don’t know and that’s okay. Nobody has all the answers and we need to be gentle with ourselves while we figure it out.
12) “Life’s a dance we learn as we go. Sometimes we lead and sometimes we follow.” (JMM)
13) Love at first sight is real and so are soul mates.
14) People who truly love you will accept you for who you are.
15) It’s never a good idea to wish for someone else’s life because when we do that it means we aren’t making the most of our own.
I’m sure I could come up with some more “pearls of wisdom” but I have a book to finish as you all know. Thanks for taking the time to read my possibly self-indulgent musings. I hope you all have a great day and learn something that matters to you and if you feel like sharing, I’d love to hear. Maybe I will learn something new 🙂
I just want to thank you for being such a talented writer. I am an avid reader and can not tell you how often I am looking for the perfect book. I have read both stay and hold on and let me tell you I am hooked I was so sucked into Alexa and Julian’s lives. I read both books back to back I could not put down my kindle I was thinking night and day about the story line and what was next. I know you know how writers get writers block well I currently have readers block I haven’t been able to fully get into another book since reading Hold On I find myself constantly comparing each book to yours I am so in love with the series and did not want it to end when I got to page 504 of 507 I wanted to just cry thinking what am I going to do without some Julian and Alexa in my daily read. I am patiently waiting for the release of the 3rd book in the series. So again thank you for bringing us Stay and Hold On they are the perfect books and you should be so proud and please don’t stop I can’t wait for the future of Alexa Reed ‘s story and hope Julian and her finally find their happy ending although I wish this series would never end. I am so happy I had the opportunity to read this series. You Rock!!!
Hi Callista!
Thank you so much for the message. I love hearing it! Promise Me will be out in the next few weeks so you can re-read the first two lol. I am thinking of adding more books to the series because of the positive feedback. Who knows though, one step at a time! Are you following me on social media? I am Hilary Wynne and Hilary Wynne author on FB and on twitter @HilaryWynne. It’s the best way to stay updated. I also have a newsletter through this site that will be sending out updates soon. Finally, any chance I can get you to cut and paste your messgae in to a review on Amazon/Goodreads/B&N – whereever? It really helps indie authors like me.
Have a great day!
Hilary
What a talented writer. I purchased the Alexa Reed trilogy. What wonderful reading, I could not wait to finish one book then go on to the other, I wasn’t able to put my Nook down I had to know what was happening next in the lives of Alexa and Julian.
The characters in the books were very interesting to follow (all of their friends and family). Truthfully I enjoyed your books so much more than reading Fifty Shades of Grey. There was always something going on with everyone and not just the main people. I love to read and I hope that you will have more writings with the lives of Alexa and Julian.
Thank You so much and keep up the GREAT WRITING….
THANK YOU!! I appreciate the feedback and the support.
Hilary
I read all three books; Stay, Hold On & Promise Me. I have one word for all three, “INTENSE!!”
Thanks, I enjoyed them ALL, and look forward to your next book.
Thank you so much Josie! I really appreciate the support and the feedback. If you wouldn’t mind I would love it if you would leave a review on Amazon/B&N or Goodreads. Also, please follow me on FB or twitter @HilaryWynne so we can stay in touch.
Hilary
Please , Please write another book about Alexa and Julian’s life as husband and wife and soon to be parents. This is by far the best erotic romance I have ever read, and I have read a lot!
Hi Judy,
Thanks for the message and my apologies for the very delayed response. I have been away from the author world for quite some time, I have recently started writing again, the fourth, and support like this keeps me going!
